Life isn't waiting, why are you?
Thank you for meeting with us. In the next few minutes we'll cover why people work with us, who you'll work with, what we offer, and how the process works.
Why people work with The Mill
Most advisors use the same process and solutions for all their clients. We believe each client faces unique challenges, so we shape our approach around yours, and we help you bridge the gap from the life you're living to the unlived life within you.
Built around you
A personable process that adapts to your needs, wants, and communication style.
Education first
We use technology to drive financial education, so you understand what you have and why each strategy makes sense.
The whole family
We work with multiple generations to create and transfer wealth, so your legacy reflects your values.
This is our why. What's yours?
So you can live to the fullest
A sound plan helps you reach big milestones. It can also ease stress in a relationship, let your family stay on vacation one day longer, or free up extra dollars for a church or charity you care about.
So you can sleep better at night
You have the power and the right to create your fullest life. We prepare you for future obstacles while building momentum toward what you want, so you wake up believing tomorrow will be better than yesterday.
So you can feel confident about your plan
Everyone has a financial plan. The question is how accurate, comprehensive, and sound it is. A sound plan acts like a fire extinguisher when issues arise.
The people you'll work with
Passionate professionals with experience in finance, communication, and client service, committed to personalized planning and advice.

Our unique three-phase process
Three phases, six steps. Keep scrolling to follow along.
- 1Discovery
- 2Understanding
- 3Execution
Understand what you have and what's available
We help you better understand what you currently have, then examine everything open to you so your dollars work as efficiently as possible.
- Review your accounts, benefits, and obligations
- Surface options you may not know exist
- Explain it all in plain language
Decide with confidence
A good financial plan isn't enough. You should understand the "why" and trust that the strategies will get you to your destination.
- Walk through the reasoning, not just the recommendation
- Weigh the trade-offs together
- Choose the path that fits your life
Put the plan to work
Once your plan is in place, we help you carry it out. Whether you work with us or other professionals, we guide you every step of the way.
- Turn strategies into clear next steps
- Coordinate with the other professionals you rely on
- Stay with you through each step
Those three phases break down into six steps
Here is what happens at each step on the way to your plan.
- 1
Discovery & onboarding
We learn your unique goals and objectives, explore possible synergies, and align on values.
- Your goals and priorities
- What matters most to you and your family
- Whether we're the right fit
- 2
Cashflow management
We examine how and when money is coming in, and where it's going out.
- Income and when it arrives
- Spending and saving habits
- Room to redirect dollars toward goals
- 3
Risk management
The best offense is a good defense, and that can be true in your financial plan too.
- Protection for you and your family
- Gaps that could derail the plan
- Preparing for life's unknowns
- 4
Debt & leverage
We want to eliminate toxic debt, but debt can also be a tool that helps build wealth.
- Which debt to pay down
- Where borrowing can help
- The true cost of each choice
- 5
Investments
From old 401(k)s to new brokerage accounts, every single dollar should work toward your goals.
- Accounts scattered across employers
- How each one lines up with your goals
- Fees and efficiency
- 6
Plan delivery
We thoroughly explain your options and help you decide which strategies to implement.
- A clear walkthrough of your plan
- The choices and trade-offs, explained
- Your next steps
